01. MALAYSIA
After Pakistan, Beaconhouse has the largest presence in Malaysia. Beaconhouse Malaysia Sdn Bhd was established in 2004 to operate schools in the country. Beaconhouse now owns and operates 14 schools in and around Klang Valley, Kuala Lumpur. This includes two international schools offering the Cambridge International curriculum at Primary, Secondary, IGCSE and A Levels, with one now elevated to a premium international school in partnership with Reigate Grammar School, UK. Additionally, two schools follow the Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah Semakan (KSSR) national curriculum.
Beaconhouse also operates 10 preschools, offering a diverse curriculum tailored to different learning needs. Our early years programmes include the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), PeiKen Mandarin-English Preschool, the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), and the Play to Learn & Learn to Play approach. With a strong emphasis on trilingual literacy, our preschools create a nurturing environment where young learners thrive, ensuring they develop holistically while truly enjoying the learning process.
02. UAE
Newlands School Dubai opened its doors in September 2017. Located in Al Warqa, the school offers the British curriculum.
Beaconhouse acquired Al Khaleej International School (BAKIS) in Sharjah in January 2018, which offers the American curriculum. Beaconhouse Al Ain started operations in September 2019.
03. PHILLIPPINES
Beaconhouse acquired St. Paul Learning Center, located in Cebu City, the second largest city in the Philippines, in 2008. In early 2012, Beaconhouse acquired the Angels in Heaven School in Cabuyao, Laguna, Manila.
The school offers K-12 education.
04. OMAN
Beaconhouse established a foothold in the Gulf with the opening of its first school in Muscat, Oman, in September 2006. After consistently successful operations of the first school, a second school was launched in Al Khuwair, Muscat in 2020. Al Khuwair is a purpose-built-campus that offers classes for Grades 1-12. The school is an accredited partner of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and offers the IGCSE and A Level programmes, along with the Ministry of Education’s General Education Diploma (GED).
05. THAILAND
In 2014, Beaconhouse acquired a significant stake in Yamsaard Group that operates three schools in Bangkok and Hua Hin. A fourth school, The Beaconhouse Yamsaard International School, was established in the Pattanakarn area of Bangkok in 2015. Three schools offer national and English programmes, while the fourth offers the International Programme (British Curriculum), certified by the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT). All Beaconhouse Yamsaard Schools are certified for their high educational standards. The schools also received a commendation for their quality of education from the Office of Educational Standards and Royal Honours from His Majesty the King in both 1993 and 2012.
